The madmen in Arizona have banned the teaching of any Ethnic Studies classes in Arizona public schools calling these programs "Un-American" and a threat to American democracy. This legislative action was under "Homeland Security", implying that these school programs teaching young Latino students their culture and their history are somehow a threat to the safety of this country. They say they want to bridge the gap and change the discrepancies between people of color and whites graduating and/or attending college, but when something comes along that might actually do that, they fight it to death. Pathetic.
